On behalf of the SNEAPPA Board of Directors, I welcome you to our chapter website. Southern New England chapter of APPA is comprised of three states: Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Our members have come to enjoy our programming with its opportunities for professional development and networking amongst institutional members and business partners alike.
Our website and chapter is dedicated to our members. It is our collaborative effort to keep you apprised of changing trends within our professions. We try earnestly to tailor our programming to meet your collective needs.
We are excited about the upcoming year. Currently we are scheduled to be at UMass Amherst in November 2018, Eastern CT State University in March 2019 and Miss Halls School in June 2019. We are working to finalize a location for November 2019 and will update as soon as we have a commitment. The programming we have in place promises to be interesting, timely and informative. Also, ERAPPA, our eastern region partner, will be hosting their annual meeting in Eerie, PA from September 29, 2019 – October 2, 2019. We encourage you to visit their website for more information: www.erappa2019.org
Our ultimate goal is to keep you informed on chapter activities, representation, dates and details of our three annual educational meetings as well as professional development, scholarship and credentialing opportunities. This includes both at that chapter level as well as regionally through ERAPPA and nationally through APPA.
There are many exciting opportunities in our profession through APPA training programs and the APPA Credentialing Program. Professional development has never been as important as it is today. The fast pace of change in the industry affects us all in our personal and professional lives. It is our Board’s hope that this site is beneficial to serve you our members as an informational source in our profession. Please contact me or any Board Member with your comments and suggestions to aid us in providing the best service possible for members.
Special thanks to Peyton Gibson and John Marshall for their guidance, stewardship, dedication and hard work in creating this easy to navigate, informative website.
